Hey guys, as I said before, I would try a new graphic idea.  It involves the same type of idea with the spray paint and such but I added more paint and a camera scrolling and more 3d objects (Wall, floor).  I hope you enjoy it and comment my blog if you like it.

Adobe After Effects CS3

Hey guys, lately I have been working in Adobe After Effects creating 3D titles and such. I have had an urge to create amazing things and this tool enables me to.

Due to me being very very new at this, projects that should take 2 hours take me 4 so it can be frustrating at times. Other than that, I freakin’ love After Effects!

To tell you the truth though, it is damn complicated. I have put 3-4 hours on an effect that involves scrolling camera work, paint effects, grungy textures and sounds which will be put up to youtube very soon. I will post that here when it’s up on youtube. For now, I have a quick example of a very, very basic effect. Adobe After Effects is very powerful and can handle so much more than what I have created in a mere hour. Aside from that, enjoy.

Quick little update

Sorry for such a hold up on posts lately guys. I have been so busy the past few weeks since summer started for me.

Last Sunday I got back from my trip to Maine. I went up there with some friends to hang out for 6 days at a waterfront beach house on Lake Thompson. Great place to be. I rode 2007 Jet Skis, tubed, boated and kayaked. Hanging out on the dock staring at the water was so calm and relaxing. At night we played Sorry and drank gallons of Arizona Ice Tea.

Hanging out with my girlfriend has been amazing and hanging at my friend pool has been quite fun as well. I have enjoyed my summer so far but it is coming to an end and with my grandfather in the hospital, I may be heading for some rough times. Never-the-less I need to crack down and work on my geometry packet and English project for the sumer.

Hope all is well with my readers, and I will be updating my blog much more often.

Akross by Sean Fields

With the upcoming release of Sean Fields Akross DVD, I wanted to mention just that. Akross should be up on Sean’s website for download this weekend and you won’t want to miss out on this fantastic effect. The DVD should be ready in a couple weeks. On the DVD is 3 effects based off the same principle of a card jumping to the box in the most impossible fashion. You have to see this to believe it. The effects are:

Akross: A card is chosen from one of the two different colored decks. Lets say red. You sign that red cartd on the face and lose it in the pack in the red deck and set those cards in the box. You have the blue cards shown on the backs and also placed back in the box. With a snap the red signed card disappears from the red deck and ends up in the blue deck. So impossible. You have to see this to believe it.

Singularity: Half of the deck is placed in the box and out of reach from the magician. The other half has a card chosen and is lost in that half of the pack. With a snap, that card disappears and the magician picks up the box with half the cards in it. The magician spreads that half to reveal one face down card…your selected card.

Duality: Two cards are shown, in the videos case, the Queen of Hearts and the 3 of Clubs. Both cards are shown and one is put face down onto the floor. The other is shown and with a wave, that card in your hand turns onto the card sitting on the floor. This two card transpo is sure to blow any magicians mind.

Additional teachings will be found on the DVD, so you won’t want to pass up on this sweet, sweet DVD. Visit Sean’s website at http://www.seanfields.net
